Does colour matter?

One of the most common questions when people book up for a photoshoot, irrespective of the type of shoot, is “what should I wear?”

I’ll post a more detailed blog at a later time going into your clothing choices but just as a taster and thought instigator here is the same person, smiling, but wearing different shirts: white, light blue and dark blue.

The question is does the shirt alone make you feel any differently about each photo?

Stylists will have a lot to say about colour and they match clothing colour to skin complexion. But it also speaks to occasion, visual language and it might hint at personality. In some cases clothing colour and style definately bellow personality. In your business photos though your choice of style and colour makes a statement about you and even your business itself.

It’s something to consider.

More to come.
